You can cancel a ride for free before a driver is assigned. Once a driver has accepted your ride, a cancellation fee (shown in your city's pricing) may apply if you cancel, to compensate the driver for their time and fuel getting to you.
If you were charged in error, charged twice for the same trip, or a driver cancelled after arriving without a valid reason, contact support@olakitan.top with your trip details. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method (Paystack/Flutterwave) or credited to your Taxi Demo Wallet, typically within 3-7 business days.
Funds refunded to your Taxi Demo Wallet are available immediately for your next ride, but are not withdrawable to a bank account.
If you believe a fare was calculated incorrectly (wrong distance, surge applied in error, etc.), report it within 48 hours of the trip so we can review the trip data and adjust where appropriate.
